"The house is NOT appropriate for winter rental letting. The main room's only heating system is the old fashionned fire place. The house is not insulated at all. There are gaps around the doors which we tried to block with our sleeping bags; there was no functionning heaters in any of the bedrooms. "The property is lovely unfortunately not really appropriate for our 3 year old. The gate to the swimming pool didn't work properly and he could let himself in and out. The owner told us his dogs need to be carefully watched around children. The owners are around constantly (they are nice but intrusive). The car entrance opens on to a major road and is right next to the play area which means the children can't safely be left in the playground area."

"We stayed one night here prior to a visit to Puy du Fou. We had a family room for four people. It was fairly small, but had everything we needed and the space had been carefully designed with plenty of room for luggage etc. It was also nice and clean. The restaurant does excellent food in the evening (well worth visiting whether you are staying at the hotel or not) and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. "

"Quiet little bungalows with aircon, confortable beds and private bathroom. There are tables and seats on the terrasse in front of each room, very nice for lunch outside. The room was basic but quite spacious and had everything we needed as we stay 3 nights to visit Puy du Fou (5 min by car). Very convenient to get home quickly after the night shows free on site parking. However, the cleaning of the rooms could be improved: the room has a very strong smell of insecticide when we arrived, we found several dead spiders on the wall and the bed sheets. The bathroom was not properly cleaned in some of the corners (dust, hair) but nothing too bad."
