"Up front, you should know it’s an older property and is not shiny and luxurious. However, the staff of Gilberto and crew were great. Home-cooked meals and drinks served (you pay for the f&b, of course). It’s in a quiet neighborhood, and the pool and beachfront are great. Again, pool is aged, but holds clean water. Our interactions with owner, Marcello, were also timely, fair, and accurate. "

"I did travel in the low season (July) but have also travelled to the same location in high season and it was still relatively quiet. Private pool is what sold me, but the condo itself has all you need. I travelled solo , but there is more than enough room for 2 people + 1 child.
