"We were traveling internationally and booked this property weeks in advance. The reservation was confirmed by VBRO. When we contacted the owner for check in instructions 1 hour prior to check in, he said he hadn't checked his email and never got our reservation. We were left in a foreign country scrambling for a new reservation for our week-long holiday at 4pm the same day. The property owner seemed to take no responsibility for ruining our vacation. "The Caro & Selig Tergensee is a lovely hotel. Beautiful spacious rooms with broad balconies, great restaurant, coffee bar, and roof top bar. The Spa has wonderful complimentary Sauna, Steam and guest pool. Staff are efficient, accommodating and friendly. Easy walking distance to town shops and off-site restaurants. What’s not to like!"

"I had a lovely stay here. The hotel was in good condition and the staff were helpful. The roof-top patio and spa area is pleasant. The immediate area is not as lovely. It is set on a fairly busy street with a Getraenkemarkt and gas station directly across - so lighted red signage is a main component of the view from the windows. It is about a 10 minute walk to the lake."

"I visited this area for the first time, and I really liked this hotel. The rooms are good sized and the bed is very comfortable. The windows swing open wide which was nice to bring in the cool evening air. The location is right in the action for the town, and it's across the street from the lake so I had a really nice view from the room. The restaurant is very good, opting to eat there twice for dinner. The breakfast which was included in the room was very good too. The front desk team spoke perfect English which I appreciated and their directions and suggestions were very much appreciated."
