"We, a family of 5, stayed at this apartment for a little getaway weekend. We found this apartment to be quite comfortable, well placed within the town and stocked with all the necessaties. The check-in was simple and easy, and communication with the host was flawless. He even provided a parking spot behind the apartment, upon request. We also brought our dog, who was also welcome. There is a small park about a 10 minute walk away for kids. Just to note (as I must have missed it in the listing)...

"Ideal location for exploring Meissen, Dresden and the Swiss Saxony area. The property is fabulous with everything you need and more for a relaxing stay and totally exceeds the description given. Our hosts made us feel very welcome and were there if needed without intruding. Overall would highly recommend the property and area for a relaxing holiday."

"The owner made an incredibly sensitive reconstruction of the building that is placed in idyllic countryside. Two bedrooms and the two-floored living room that includes the full equipped kitchen make you feel very comfortable and airy. Old beams and pure and minimalistic style meet naturally. "Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuß erreichbar, ebenso eine Bäckerei. Die Ausstattung ist sehr schön. Praktisch fand ich den Chip- Schlüssel, top. Parkplätze hinter dem Haus, das Haus ist auch nicht direkt an der Straße sondern in zweiter Reihe, top. Zum Kochen ist alles mögliche vorhanden Töpfe, Pfannen... Hab mich sehr wohl gefühlt."

"We enjoyed our stay at Ferienwohnung zum Trappen, Dresden. The owners were very helpful and friendly; even with our limited German skills and their limited English, we managed to communicate well enough. We especially enjoyed the beautiful flowers and landscaping that the owners have done in their garden. "I arrived at 6pm and the hotel was closed. I rang the bell and fortunately someone replied on the intercom. My key was in a loxk box next to the door and I was given the pin to open it. I was told to arrive before 8, not 6. The hotel is a 10 minute drive from downtown. "
