We should have checked that pets were allowed on the property. The room next to us had a howling and barking dog one morning around 7:00AM and the prior night the guest was blasting their TV at the wee hours of the morning. Both incidents were reported so hopefully the next guests will not be impacted, since I believe the room next to us has been staying there long-term. Breakfast options were fair for this hotel's price range. It's an older-style hotel with new renovations that allow me to give the hotel 3.5 stars if I could.

The rooms seem to have received upgrades, and I was comfortable in my quarters. Certain areas of the property could use a little TLC. It's been a while since I've stayed in outward facing hotel rooms. The last time might have been in Mexico, where the doors had a 1-inch gap at the bottom. Experienced the same thing at Equus. Didn't have a huge issue with bugs in the room though. Desk clerks were generally nice. Overall, it was a good stay.

We always have an excellent stay here. They have quiet time at 10pm so it makes getting some rest after a long days traveling easy. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom showers are excellent. We love staying here when we visit Ocala

We were late checking in and tried to call but the 800 number listed on the e mail just rang tried another number from Google and that person wasn’t on sight and couldn’t let anyone know we would be a late check in. Anyway we arrived and Kim was very nice, answered all our questions, bed was comfortable and the shower was great!

It's an attractive property for being right on a busy road, directly off the interstate. It has many nice upgrades. The room has been modernized in an appealing way. The reception people are nice and helpful. The breakfast was fair. It would be nice if it had a hot tub and not just a pool. But it does have easy access to lots of shopping and restaurant options.
