"Lumen apartments are great. Very nice parking, bed, shower, kitchen. The only complaint was a drainage smell that was coming out of the kitchen sink. We couldn’t figure it out while we were there but I need to mention that management responded really quick to all my emails or phone calls and offered to send someone to check the smell but we were out all day and only come to the apartment to sleep so we were able to tolerate the smell for a little bit. "The hotel is in an excellent location for travel in and out of Basel Bahnhof, and walking around central Basel. Service and the buffet breakfast are both very good. I had a cosy single room with thick window glazing to block most noise from the street below. I did not experience internal noise from other guests and slept well. The choice of eating options at the hotel and in it’s immediate vicinity is limited but there are great cafes and restaurants a short tram ride or a 10 minute away."
