Ocean Front Home with Private Beach

Welcome to Jack's Cove – a very special place in Ogunquit. This 3 bedroom, ocean front property is located just south of Perkins Cove and includes a generous backyard that leads to a secluded, private pebble beach.

Watch the sailboats and lobstermen come in and out of Perkins Cove or swim in the clear water without the crowds. The lawn extends directly to the beach and can accommodate activities of all kinds (including relaxing in a beach chair).

The open first floor allows for unobstructed views of the Gulf of Maine while prepping in the kitchen, enjoying a sit-down meal or relaxing in the living room.

The entire second floor, including the two full bathrooms, was completely renovated and furnished in 2022. All three bedrooms are located on the second floor and offer beautiful coastal views with multiple windows to let in the ocean breezes.

The primary bedroom includes an en suite bathroom. Two bedrooms have desks in case work just can’t wait. There are two twin beds in the unfinished basement as well as additional seating and a washer/dryer.

All the comforts of home are provided including bed linens, bath and beach towels.

The home is situated on almost an acre of property that is only accessible from a private lane off of Shore Road. It is a beautiful property that was originally part of “Ye Olde Perkin’s Farm” (circa 1717) where an open pasture extends to the back of the house.

Guests of Jack's Cove are just minutes away from Perkins Cove, the Marginal Way and downtown while enjoying the beautiful Maine coast on the only private beach in Ogunquit. A unique gem of a rental!

Please note: The majority of the year there is a three night minimum, however during the summer months the town of Ogunquit requires at least a seven day stay.

Lovely home and views!
This place is everything the listing shows! It was absolutely gorgeous and really well decorated. I loved all the picture collages throughout the home. It was the perfect location and home for our small group, while celebrating my mother in laws upcoming 90th birthday! Comfy beds, dual heating zones, cozy blankets, gorgeous views and all the comforts of home! The kitchen was really well stocked! We stayed in early November and weather was incredible, but be warned many restaurants and some shops were closed for the season, but it did not bother us much. We would definitely return here! We all loved our stay so much and the host was super communicative, well in advance of our stay and again as our stay approached!

Beautiful Location
This was the perfect house for our group (my mother, brother and sister-in-law, me and my wife). Gorgeous location on the water, everyone was happy to spend most of their time sitting outside on the patio. We cooked most meals and the house had everything we needed. The bed (in the master, at least) is very comfortable! Definitely recommend!!!

Where do I begin? This home was exactly what I had dreamed of for my Bucket List trip to Maine. This home is very well-equipped with everything you might need while on vacation. As perfect and beautiful as the house is, it doesn't compare to the property grounds. The home is located on a private cove and rocky beach. The owner, Elizabeth, is wonderful and very easy to work with.

Great week! Desperately needed!
This property is EXACTLY as described. It’s clean, a beautiful big yard, stone beach, well equipped with all the necessities. Instruction booklet for tv/internet/restaurant suggestions, etc. Thank you , Elizabeth, for being in touch and readily available before and during our stay. We had a very brief power outage due to a tree down in the area. We wouldn’t have even known had it not been for a message from the property owner. All cleaning, cooking, beaching supplies are there! I still foolishly packed them, expecting something to be missing. I should have listened to Elizabeth!! We had another couple come stay for a night. Our son and his girlfriend stayed for 5 nights. There was never any issue with space or bathroom time. The layout of the house is just perfect, and beautifully decorated. You’ll see in Elizabeth’s description to bring beach shoes. Definitely bring them!! The beach is all stones and they can be unsteady. We brought tubes and just floated in Jack’s Cove like sea otters!! It was sooo relaxing! Thanks again for a wonderful time! Hope to be able to come again! xox!

Perfect Quiet Getaway
The beds were SO comfortable! My sisters and I escaped to Maine for a week and this house was a perfect quiet getaway. The couches were comfortable, the dining room table was perfect for puzzles, and the views were stunning. Highly recommend!

Location, location, location
We had a wonderful stay with friends at this lovely home with an exceptional view. The house was spotless and very comfortable for our group. We loved the layout with lots of seating for visiting with that incredible ocean view! The beds were all very comfortable and there were plenty of linens, paper products, etc. there was even a lobster pot and utensils so that we could make a lobster dinner on our last night. I would definitely stay at this property again.

Wonderful Week in Maine
My husband and I have been visiting the Ogunquit area for many years, and this home was, by far, the best lodging we've ever had. The house has everything you'd need - lovely bedding and towels, stylish artwork and furnishings, beautiful bathrooms, a fully appointed kitchen, and even a cabinet full of puzzles and games. We spent the first part of the week on our own, and then our adult children joined us. The house accommodated our family perfectly, and we were able to spend lots of quality time together. Elizabeth was terrific to work with, and we're looking forward to visiting her very special home again.

From the moment we booked this property we were excited - and it exceeded our expectations. Amazing communication, super clean property, all the amenities you could ever need, private, and location was a dream. Perfection by every definition
Elizabeth's home at Jack's Cove created an exceptionally beautiful and comfortable space for our gathering of old friends. The view out all of the windows (including the window as you walk down the stairs from the 2nd floor bedrooms) are all views that entice you to stop and just savor the moment. Each morning, I watched the magnificent sun rise on the water and landscape from the living room windows. The cleanliness and overall easy to follow organization of Elizabeth's home made is truly a stress free and complete pleasure to spend time there. Example: we each commented on the showers and how beautifully designed they were (handle is on opposite wall of the faucet). There are plenty of comfortable chairs and couches in the living room so this made our conversations easy and everyone had a comfortable seat. Attention has been given to every aspect of this impeccably cared for home. It is RARE to find a home so meticulously cared for in such an exquisite and private location....we had the experience of spending time in an old traditional home combined with all of the contemporay conveniences in the most amazing location. I am so grateful to have found this little slice of heave in Jack's Cove. I will definitely return.

Amazing property and location!
We are from the west coast and our son goes to school in Boston, so we picked him up on our way up to the house for a short get away and some family time. The house and location was absolutely perfect. Inside, the house was beautifully decorated and well maintained. The beds were very comfortable, and all of the bedding felt new and plush. The kitchen was very well stocked with a good variety of cookware. We made a few meals and had everything we needed, which was very much appreciated! Because it was winter, we had a great time inside playing games hanging out. It was comfy, and cozy in the living room with stunning views. Outside, it was chilly but beautiful. We drove up to Portalnd for a day, walked the Marginal Way in town, and walked the beach as well. Two of the four of us had to work remotely and very much appreciated the desks in two of the rooms. This house is truly a gem. I can only imagine how much better it would be in the summer! I hope to come back and find out for myself.
