Outside could definitely do with a cobweb sweep and the light fixed and the chairs in good condition one was broken when we git there. "We had a lovely stay here, the propeety is truly amazing and beautiful. It has everything you need and is really well located for Fontevraud and Montsoreau. The check in process was seamless and we were greetd with pmenty of usefull information. The proerty is so nice its like somthing from a story book."

"My wife and I were very impressed with Barbara’s hideaway. The cottage was clean, functional, and out of the way but still fairly close to all the wonderful little towns and chateaus in the valley. The private pool was a treat and we felt like we were the only people around for miles yet Barbara was there anytime we had a question. poor service attension

"Very poor attension to opening the breakfast times. I was to open at 7am, but didnt open until 7.45 on a Monday before our teams work. Poor selection of breakfast, no taking care of damp towels in room or the room when returning. Would assume there was cleaning to take place the days I stayed. Over payed for the price it was "

"Beaucoup de bruit de la part des voisins à deux heure du matin et impossible de rejoindre le personnel avec tous les numéros fournis. Le lendemain j'ai annuler les deux jours restant à cause du bruit et de la sécurité inexistante la nuit. On m'a indiqué qu'on allait me contacter pour discuter du remboursement mais j'attends encore après plus d'un mois!"

"Staff good . Bedding clean and comfortable. Air conditioning not working, mouldy shower ceiling, carpet very worn. Whole hotel needs a revamp. Breakfast buffet not great choice. Overpriced. Car parking very easy and hotel was not noisy. Would not use again unless keen to stay in Parthenay."
