"This is a small hotel just a few blocks from the downtown area and within walking distance of so much stuff. The owners and staff were great and made us feel at home the whole 6 days we were there. They have a cafe that serves breakfast and lunch which was excellent. Everyone(including the security personnel)introduced their selves to us so that we knew who they were. We never felt unsafe while staying here. If you want to get to know the Belize true culture and want a nice cozy place to stay...

"This property was very quiet and within about 15 minutes drive from the airport. James was very communicative and told us lots about the history of the area and his personal history, which we appreciated. Concerns were that interior doors didn't open all the way, the dish sponge was very old, the refrigerator dispensed water very slowly and I wondered if we should be drinking it, the listing had shown a washer and dryer (which was most probably in the owner's house) and the valve on the shower...

"On first arrival, saw that this hotel was pretty nice. Staff was very friendly and accommodating although a little disorganized. There was some miscommunication with our shuttle pickup and getting a shuttle to dinner took more time than I would have liked. Our room was clean but we did not have hot water.
