Large cozy log cabin offers two private bedrooms. The fireplace sets the rustic feel of the cabin. Fully stocked kitchen with pans and utensils. Each cabin has its own hot tub, charcoal grill, and outside firepit. Private and yet close to the other cabins if you wanted to book as a group. Great for larger groups or family reunions! Timberline Cabins situated near Salt Fork Lake in Cambridge Ohio. Each cabin is nestled in a wooded, private setting. Located less than 3/4 mile to Salt Fork Lake which has 3,000 acres of the most visited lake in Ohio and 22,000 acres of surrounding land for year around activities. Enjoy the outdoors playing golf, boating, fishing, hunting and hiking. Timberline Cabins are conveniently location with easy access to all major cities in Ohio.

Wonderful cabin and experience

It had everything we needed. Very clean and felt like a home away from home. So cozy and beautiful!

Close to state park, but misleading location

The positives of this cabin are its proximity to Salt Fork State Park. We also enjoyed the hot tub and how quiet the area was. However, the listing describes the cabin as being in a private setting which simply isn't true. The cabin is right off a gravel road and is situated in a ring of 3 other cabins right within view. If you're looking for privacy this isn't it. The cabin seemed to be lacking some comforts like warm blankets as the upstairs bedrooms don't get very warm in March even with the thermostat up to 72. Both my husband and I also hit our heads several times on the slanted low ceiling boards. Overall it's a rustic cabin with a few creature comforts l, but feel like for the price we paid the listing itself was misleading.

Nice cabin but had a few minor issues

The cabin was nice and clean. However, the whole cabin was unlevel. The floors were slanted. Since the floors were unlevel the toilet wouldn’t flush correctly because the water level couldn’t refill properly when flushed. None of the batteries worked in the remotes for the TV etc. Had to go buy batteries. Also, there is a tree limb that kept scraping the metal roof.
