"This a charming Gasthaus. My daughter had surgery at the nearby Stenum Clinic. It is a little out of the way but we managed to walk to nearby restaurants, train station, and the hospital. The Gasthaus was decorated nicely for Christmas. We did not get fresh towels at all during our 5 day stay but didn't ever see anyone to ask either. Super quiet and comfortable. Had a cute kitchenette to cook meals that we bought from the local grocery store.( that we also walked to.) Very reasonable. we...

"This is the reason one goes to a hotel operated by a family. It was really clean, friendly and felt like going on a visit with family. Nice that one can have a decent dinner in the same hotel as well, also prepared by the owners :)"

"The location is perfect. It's right next to the university and within a short drive to shopping. Oldenburg is a very pleasant town to spend a few days. The house was as described. The 2 bedrooms are upstairs and everything else is downstairs. Outside is a large covered patio which was perfect for keeping our bikes dry. "Wir hatten ein sehr erholsames Wochenende in diesem Haus. Wer die Natur und Ruhe liebt, ist hier genau richtig. Das Haus ist sauber, gepflegt und hat alles, was man braucht. Es gibt reichlich Ausflugsmöglichkeiten, die in nur wenigen Kilometern zu erreichen sind( Sehr empfehlenswert ist die Stadt Jever oder Carolinensiel wo man wunderbar an der Harle entlang nach Harlesiel spazieren kann um dort einige Köstlichkeiten der Küstenräucherrei zu probieren) .
