This February we had very unusual warm weather it would be nice to have a fan to where we could get some air circulation 72 was not what I thought I was going to get but it did not take away from the quality place so either bring one if the weather is going to be super warm or perhaps one could be purchased and left in the downstairs closet.withawawesome awesome view of the ocean"

The access to the beach right out our door was so perfect for my sand loving, wave hopping preschooler!The kitchen was sufficient for our meals that were prepared as we went. It is within walking distance to downtown Stinson, where we enjoyed latte’s and treats. My son was able to crab fish right out our front door, and we were thrilled to be able to enjoy the fruit of his labor. Perfect!"

"This little unit is a comfortable, warm and sweetly decorated. It is a nice place to stay for a few days. The only wish is for a kitchen sink or some way to clean dishes and clear of food.The garden and the farm fresh eggs were a real treat. And the hosts are kind."

"We had a wonderful stay at this property perched on a hillside above Dillon Beach. The house is 360 views you can watch the sunrise and sunset from this location. The mountain has deer, hawks, bunnies. The house had all the amenities you'd need for a dinner. The house is perched on a hill so you will get a workout in and need to be in good shape. The house has about 90 steps up so it's a bit of a haul for luggage and groceries but I thought worth it because of the view. "

Host was argumentative and unwilling to make things right by me and my team some of which had to sleep on couches. Host texted morning of check out and told us to leave by 10am when the listing says 11am. The house is old and outdated. Worst experience EVER!!!Do not rent from this liar. "

"This was our second stay at Horseneck Cottage. My husband and I took our 2 kids, ages 11 and 9, on their first trip to California. Horseneck Cottage is a perfect spot, both within Stinson Beach and to explore around Marin County and SF. We took lots of day trips and it was always great to come back to the cozy cottage.
