"Lovely welcome package - helpful guide from the owner and beautiful views. Comfortable sleeping for seven guests and good cooking appliances and cutlery. Lots to do in area and close to boat hire and water sports hire places. Good restaurants nearby in Sorico. The natural spring is quite challenging to get to but a good adventure. No complaints - would recommend! "

The apartment is nice and comfortable with a great balcony to enjoy the view. I would recommend getting there during the day since it can be a bit tricky at night. Pay attention to the fact that there are 3 flights of steps to climb, but if steps are not a problem, the view is totally worth it!!!"

We were very spoilt with a bottle of bubbly and delicious snacks. The house was a little further out of Varenna than we thought, but we love to walk and we think we left fitter than when we arrived. The apartment had everything you’d need for cooking, laundry and restful spaces. There was a cute porch with a view of a small chapel, a castle and the lake if you stood close to the railing. Great two nights stay.

"The location was in a great location to get to and from Lake Como and also Lugano (Switzerland via train and bus). It was also very easy to get to from Milano Cetrale. The Hotel itself was better than expected given the rate and the staff were super friendly and helpful. We asked for breakfast at an extra cost and again, wasn’t disappointed. The only thing we didn’t like was the pillows but as that’s a very personal thing to get right, you can’t please everyone! I’ll be looking out for B&B hotels in other locations. "
