My wife and I enjoy staying at older properties that have been renovated. The Magnolia is a neat hotel that still carries a great deal of its history in the architecture. The rooms are nice and the location to downtown dining was excellent. Had we stayed in the warmer months we would have gladly walked to our dining that evening.

When we book a show at the Orpheum Theater, we stay at the Magnolia Hotel. It’s very clean, quiet, has a restaurant, and is across the street from the theater. Have never been disappointed.

The suite I stayed in had extensive amounts of mold to the point I’m being medically evaluated back at home as I started sneezing and blowing blood out of my nose . The property states they have kitchen ware to use and didn’t have anything for us to use. No plates or silverware….. my room had a stove with no cooking pots or skillets either! And there wasn’t notification of 30$ parking

There is a very strong floral, musky scent throughout the hotel, probably magnolia of some sort. It closed my airways when I walked in. I visited the room, hoping it was better and it was the same. DO NOT BOOK HERE IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES.
