"The place was clean and the heating worked properly. Most of the beds are very uncomfortable opening sofa beds. The place is managed by an agency and not by the owner. You need to get the keys from the agents office which is half an hour drive away. The agent did not know the villa very well, thus could not give accurate information. There is no parking at the villa but there is parking at a nearby street."

"We spent one week at the Villa which we had chosen because of location, tranquillity and accessibility for touring lake Garda - we loved the spectacular views and swimming pool as well as plenty of space for our family. We felt the property could benefit from better ventilation for humidity on the lower floors and with the extreme hot weather, some air cooling or at least cooler fans to make the stay more pleasant. "Villa Montagne e Lago is a fantastic villa in a beautiful location. Stunning vues across the lake from the garden/pool area. Very clean and well equiped, would comfortably sleep 6 people. You definately need a car to be able to explore the surrounding area, 1.5 miles from nearest main road up a very steep winding road. Would definatley recommend, perfect place for a family holiday!"

"The villa was just as advertised! We loved it. We had 4 different apartments so we could have our space at anytime. The kitchens in each apartment were great. Novella, the property manager, was a dream to work with and answered all questions quickly. We also took advantage of the chefs, Manuel and Mahara. We ordered a brunch and a dinner from them and the food and service were amazing. There are many steps in each apartment so if you have difficulty with stairs, you might need to reconsider. We...

"You’ll need a car to visit Salo (which is a very cute town) but the location of the house is fantastic, with a great view. The villa is also well kept, well equipped and has a nice pool.
