"We booked approximately 12 different locations on our trip to Amsterdam and Croatia. They were all very nice except for this one. Everything in it is VERY OLD, the bedding and linens were from the last century. They were all paper thin and smelled. Both of us had bites all over in the morning. Bed bugs??? The wall at the end of the tub leaked resulting in a flood which we had to clean up in the morning. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!!"

"The view is beautiful and the room is clean but a bit on the small side, also the lighting is quite dim. The staff are all very friendly and very helpful. They helped us to unload our luggage and brought to the room. On first night, there was a big party went on until 2:30 in the morning, we did complain but nothing they could do. "The hotel is located in a handy position for getting about to different restaurants. The facilities at the hotel are excellent, the wellness area with the sauna with the most incredible view - not to be missed. Great breakfast buffet with lots of choice and catering to all sorts of dietary requirements. My only negatives…our room was rather small and felt in need of renovation. "Reasonably good, people were friendly, nice to have a room with balcony overlooking the park. Parking was pretty easy. Not much going on in Opatija but it was a relaxing 2 days and the sea is wonderful"

"We were originally booked for 2 nights and extended it to 4. The hotel and Opatija were perfect for taking it easy and enjoying nature. The hotel is everything that the photographs depict. Having breakfast on our private terrace was to die for! The staff is friendly and efficient. One day we rented a car and drove to Motovun in the Istria Peninsula which was very enjoyable. Driving in that area was easy."
