The climb to the fourth floor is worth it for the view but there is a lot of climbing up the hill before. And the municipality of Aiacciu has withdrawn the local 2bis bus route and replaced it with a more expensive tourist bus number 5 from DeGaulle square. We bought a carnet of bus tickets only to be told by the driver that the city buses...

"Enjoyed our overnight stay at the hotel. Our room was very spacious and although it was next to the railway line this didn’t bother us at all. Food was lovely and well priced and the staff were friendly and helpful. Only negative was the glass bricks between the bedroom and the bathroom which meant I was woken by the light when my OH used the bathroom during the night and vice-versa. An issue which I’m sure could be easily solved and it wouldn’t put me off from staying there again. "

"Easy stroll to town centre (go one street up from main road for a quieter option). Modern hotel, easy check in. Motorcycles - only use parking 1 (entrance nearest sea front) or you will get stuck between two barriers. Very comfortable room with massive TV. Powerful shower and a kettle in the room. Great place to stay in Ajaccio. "
