"Our second one night stay over the festive period in one of the garden rooms. The room is spotless with a large comfortable bed. We had dinner in the main house and the service was excellent and the food really good. The presentation of the seafood risotto could have been better but the taste was still good. The

"This was a first for all the different VRBO bookings we have made. A one star rating is probably wrong because we never got to stay in the property. It is in a remote country location and when we arrived (5pm on a Friday evening) the roads were closed from both directions. "Positives: really clean, well equipped and tastefully decorated and furnished. Kids loved the table tennis table and provision of games. Telly had Netflix, etc. Bathrooms fab with proper showers. Beds comfy with lovely plush pillows. Negatives: Think 5pm check in is too late. Pics misleading in that they don't show how close the bungalow is to other properties, it is tucked into a corner of a housing estate. Estate quiet and pleasant, but didn't realise its location from the blurb. Boiled water...

"Lovely little terrace house in a great location. Very steep stairs and low doorway for staircase so kept bumping out heads and could do with a foam protector on door frame. Kitchen is small so not ideal for cooking in but otherwise lovely decor and good shower. We still have not received our damage deposit back though and it has been more than 3 weeks since our stay and there was no damage to the property or the contents and not contact about it either. I would have given it 4 stars otherwise."
