"Very comfortable property, giant rooms, great water pressure, very quiet interior rooms. The property is under some renovations on the first floor. They have a beautiful bar on the lobby floor but it’s closed. My tv had a broken speaker but other than that I loved my stay at the Balmoral."

"My wife and I had never been to Costa Rica before, so we did not know what to expect exactly. Driving to the BEE Suites looked a little rough at first, but once we got there it was wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions of where to go and eat. There were many excellent restaurants within walking distance and our view of the city was wonderful. We would definitely stay there again."

"Staff was top notch. Especially Maria in the breakfast area. Property is a touch older, and could use a facelift, but it is clean, and beds are comfortable. Location is great, and the property should advertise this more. It is the closest hotel to the convention center. Just got back from a convention, and this was not one of the "official" hotels - but should have been. Myself and several others stayed here, and simply walked. Even if the conference had provided a free shuttle, we still would have walked. To give you an idea, one of our people forgot something, but during a 20 minute break, was able to go back to this property, find the item, and return, and still had 5 minutes left of the break. And this individual is a grandfather - not some 18yr old who sprinted over there. yes, it is that close. For dining, there is a shopping center just west of the hotel, that has a bunch of restaurants. It is a 2-3 minute walk. Indian, Japanese, Chinese, Steak house, sports bar, Italian, desert place, plus a small grocery store. "
