This lovely 2-bedroom first floor apartment (70 m²) is situated in the popular La Calma complex in the residential area of Playa Flamenca. La Calma is an attractive, well-maintained complex with landscaped gardens within a secure gated community.

The apartment is tastefully furnished throughout with an open plan living/dining room (with sofa bed), American style kitchen and utility/store. Both bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms and built-in wardrobes. The apartment has air conditioning throughout (with heating for winter).
There are many desirable ‘make you feel at home’ features with fibre internet (300mbps), widescreen LG Smart TV (over 140 TV channels; English, Spanish, German & French and 35 radio stations), Blu-ray/DVD player, fridge/freezer, washing machine, cooker hob/oven, microwave, kettle, Dolce Gusto coffee machine, hairdryer and iron/board.
The apartment’s private balcony is south facing with views of both the sea and one of the four beautiful communal pools and has sun loungers and patio furniture including table, parasol and chairs; great for al fresco eating.
In addition, the apartment also has its own allocated parking space.
La Calma is ideally situated with a variety of sandy beaches, including Punta Prima, Playa Flamenca, Cala Cerrada and Playa de La Zenia, within a 15-to-20-minute walk (or 2-minute drive). The sandy beaches in the locality are regularly awarded 'Blue Flag' for water quality and facilities including food and drink, children’s play areas, showers and toilet facilities. There are also a range of water sports for which you can hire equipment. The Aquopolis water park is approximately a 10-minute drive away in Torrevieja.
There are numerous supermarkets, shops, bars and restaurants located within a few minutes’ walk including the Playa Flamenca, La Mosca and Citrus commercial centres. Both Lidl and superCOR supermarkets and Rocky’s Arena pub (showing multiple Sky Sports channels) are only a stone’s throw away. The commercial centres offer a wide range of restaurants, bars and entertainment with informal Tapas, Irish, Italian, Tex-Mex, Chinese, Indian, French, American styles and many more. In addition, the La Mosca shopping centre has rooftop mini golf and the ‘Orihuela Costa’ Go-kart track (for adults and children) is within a 5-minute stroll.
The fabulous La Zenia Boulevard, the largest shopping mall in the province of Alicante, has more than 150 shops representing local and global brands and is also just 15 minutes’ walk away. The upper floor offers a variety of eateries and cafes.
An extensive Spanish market is held each Saturday in Playa Flamenca offering many bargains. There are also markets held in Cabo Roig (3/4 minutes by car) on Thursdays and Torrevieja on Fridays. The apartment is also near to public transport for travel to Torrevieja, Alicante and resorts in between.
For golfers, the exquisitely designed championship courses are suited to players of all levels of ability and handicap. Villamartin, Las Ramblas and Campoamor courses are just a 10-minute drive from Playa Flamenca. The courses of La Finca Golf and Spa Resort in Algorfa and La Marquesa at Quesada are also easily accessible.
This holiday apartment is set in a perfect location for couples, families, or golfers and is ideal for both summer and winter holidays.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
The apartment is managed by my property manager (the key holder) with an office opposite the nearby Playa Flamenca Centre.
The Host Fee included within the rental price covers cleaning and laundry on your departure and also local support, help and advice, including a 24-hour emergency number if assistance is required urgently, during your stay. When keys are handed over a RETURNABLE deposit of 200€ (or £ Sterling equivalent) is payable to my property manager to cover breakages and key return. The deposit will be handed back at the end of your vacation when the key holder has checked the apartment.
Property access instructions. There are two alternatives to access La Calma and the apartment and these are as follows:
a. My property manager provides a free meet and greet service from Monday to Friday for arrivals at the apartment between the hours of 09.00 and 17.00. Outside these times there is a charge, payable to my property manager on arrival, as follows:
(i) Monday to Friday – 25€ fee for arrivals between 17.00 to 24.00 and 50€ from midnight to 09.00;
(ii) Saturday & Sunday – 25€ fee for arrivals between 09.00 to 24.00 and 50€ from midnight till 09.00.
b. Guests can collect keys at any time, free of charge and if booked in advance, directly from a key box at my property managers office. Should guests choose this option full entry instructions and directions to both my property managers office and to La Calma/the apartment will be provided. The same options above will apply when Guests are vacating the apartment.
Within the rental is a 100kWh allowance for electricity consumption per week and the kWh meter is located in the apartment for guests to monitor usage. This allowance is more than sufficient for normal needs but the limit has been set to avoid unnecessary high usage, for example guests leaving air conditioning on all day whilst leaving main doors open etc. Any usage above the allowance will be charged at 0.45€ per kWh.
My property manager also offers airport transfers from/to Alicante airport and Murcia International airport (Corvera) at a cost of 65€ each way (up to 4 passengers). For collections after 20.00 or before 09.00 there is a 15€ surcharge. These prices are correct at October 2024.
Travel cots & high chairs are available on request at 20€ per week per item and are subject to availability.
Check-in is from 16.00 on day of arrival and checkout by 14.00 on day of departure.
Minimum stay varies between 4 and 10 nights.
