Let me start by saying I’m speechless. My partner and I booked 2 nights at the Hilton Mystic Dunes Resort to be close to friends for a visit. When we checked in, It turned out that our room did not have hot water in the shower or sink. We called the office in the morning, they sent engineering to solve (they said hot water was on cold settings and cold on hot settings) Believing the water was fixed, when going to shower, no hot water. Again. When we called the front desk, they did offer to fix the hot water but we were checking out. That’s 2 days without showers. Not ideal. I did express my unhappiness of not having hot water for the entire stay .. they simply said sorry you are unhappy. No offer of compensation - they offered excuses but not once did they offer a solution. Not once. I did ask that they refund the high resort fee paid for the 2 days as a compensation for the poor experience, no showers, and poor service. A fair ask I think. They argued with me, they didn’t want to do that .. 45 minutes later, they continued with excuses. Their final comment was that I lied about not having hot water and there would be no compensation. Honestly, the worst customer service I have experienced. Bottom line: this Hilton did not offer the quality of service you’d expect from this brand. I can say not only will I not stay at this Hilton again.. I’d think twice about the brand in general after this incredibly bad experience.

We will definitely be back! The "room" was exactly what our family was needing without knowing it! It was a wonderful way to end our trip! The resort staff were very friendly and helpful! And the visit by the Gatorland rep and animals was an amazing experience!

Great stay. However, not a fan of their deceptive and misleading tactics and alleged "gifts" to try and get you to sit through a timeshare meeting, which is in and of itself a basic scam.

The grounds were beautiful and well manicured. The updated rooms could use a bit more updating. The shower was. Try small. If they took out the closet they could extend the shower. I’m a small person and I really had a difficult time trying to find a place for my shampoo, etc and to turn away from the water at times.

The overall property was nice, map was not a good help, huge raccoon stayed by room going through trash, tv casting didn’t work, the room purchased online was not in inventory (falsely advertised) per checkin/manager, severely displeased, so took over an hour for checkin. Amenities were mediocre for $30 resort fee and unable locate highlighted areas. Overall room was spacious but not what I expected. Salesperson at timeshare desk was rude and seemed agitated. Checkin clerk was very pleasant. Dining was complicated so was DoorDash (had to meet at gate). May visit again to see if better experience cause I see potential but trip was just average.
