"We have stayed with Deb and John for two years in a row and can’t wait to come back! The location cannot be any better, and you can literally ski up to the door. The owners are very responsive. Perfect for a small family group. A true gem!"

"Close to Jay Peak & restaurants on Newport’s Main St but laid out awkwardly. Bathroom is huge but living room is cramped. I was a little worried that we would be cold since it didn’t look well insulated, but the heat was good & strong & it didn’t take long to warm up. Owner likes fish & angels, which dominate the decor. The area is beautiful, the cabin was warm and comfortable even in the middle of january once i had the woodstove going, very nice quiet area. You won't see a single person anywhere near the cabin, it was pretty secluded and extremely private, but still reasonably close to some small towns. Outstanding location and Host!

"We have stayed here twice as a stop headed to the nek snowmobiling. I have seen negative reviews and was wary at first, but after staying on two occasions i believe those peoples expectations are unreasonable. The rooms are toasty warm, immaculately clean, well stocked with towels and toiletries. Staff is kind and helpful, showers are hot, and all things are functional. The place itself is a little older and dated so you might find that some painting is needed, or caulking on a tub is due to be replaced soon, but they are minor signs of age, and the cleanliness more than makes up for it. If you expect better than this, you should stay at the comfort inn in st johnsbury and pay twice the price ha ha! We will be staying here again. "
