"A lot of things seemed to have seen better days. The children pool had some slides, but the surface was made of some concrete and started to peel off. The handle when walking of to the slides was broken and someone could easily die if they truly held on to it. The pool area in general needs some refurbishment. "

"My wife and I recently spent 11-days at Blue Bay in Afitos starting Sept 27 to celebrate a delayed 5 yr anniversary. Our stay at the Blue Bay was wonderful. "The room was too small for 4 people, not enough closets to arrange your clothes, the bathroom was small and the shower certain dirty. We were in the outdated part of the hotel, closest to the beach. "Beautiful hotel, right on the long sandy/pebbly beach, surrounded by pine forests, palm trees and flowers. Amazing and friendly staff. The food was very good. Very clean and well maintained. It's in the middle of nowhere and takes 90 mins from the airport, well worth it though. My only criticism is that you had to pay for drinks at the evening meal, including water or juice."
