Dorothea’s holiday house is in a quiet residential location on the outskirts and has a large fenced garden of around 1500m².
There is a roofed sitting area outside with wooden garden furniture. There is also a grill. There are sun loungers on the large lawn for relaxing. The site includes a idyllic gazebo with a garden bench. Parking spaces are available by the house itself and in the immediate vicinity. Note that the house is non-smoking.
It is on two floors and was completely renovated in 2012. The ground floor has a generous hallway, a comfortably furnished living and dining room with a corner bench group, a sitting corner, a TV and stereo system, a kitchen-diner renovated in 2017 with a sitting corner, a ceramic hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge, electric universal cutter, kettle and coffee machine, a WC and a little adjoining conservatory. The first floor comprises three bedrooms, one with a double bed, a large built-in cupboard with mirrors on the door and a balcony, the second with two single beds (90 x 200cm), the third also with a built-in cupboard and a double sofa bed. This room also has a balcony. The first floor also includes a bathroom with a shower and WC. A washing machine and dryer are available on request.
It is a three-minute walk to the nearest train stop (Seehäslebahn Stockach-Radolfzell) along a path and about 200 metres to the centre with shops and various restaurants. It is2km to the heated swimming pool and a supermarket. You can enjoy golf, riding and tennis. There is a well-developed network of cycling and hiking trails throughout the Hegau and Lake Coantance area. You can visit the castle ruins at the nearby Hegauberge or go on wonderful trips into the landscapes all around the lake, such as the Mainau flower island or the Reichenau vegetable island, or Switzerland to the picturesque little town Stein am Rhein or Schaffhausen with the famous Rheinfall. The medieval towns Konstanz and Meersburg, accessed by ferry, are also worth a visit, as well as the spa town Überlingen with a Mediterranean flair. The baroque Birnau monastery affords a wonderful view over Obersee and the Alpine chain. The Zeppelinmuseum and Dorniermuseum in Friedrichshafen invite technology enthusiasts to pay a visit. It is worth going on a trip to the nearby Donautal hiking area, where the Danube meanders between craggy cliffs, along with the Beuron monastery and Burg Wildenstein.
