"Pietra Campana is a beautiful property set just outside of Orvieto. As a family of four with two teens, we had a rental car driving around the countryside. This property is gated and you need a code to get in which made us feel safe. It is about a ten minute drive into the centre of Orvieto. The property is amazing with a beautiful view of Orvieto which is lit up at night. We were only there for one night and the weather was cold and windy, so we didn't spend more time walking around the property's gardens or sitting out on the patio. We would have enjoyed that element if the weather was better. Breakfast was included which was a simple, buffet style and they prepared our eggs and coffee to order. It was perfect for our needs. We had a clean, two bedroom unit towards the back of the property which granted us the beautiful views of Orvieto. I thought the bathroom was very pretty and it had good shower pressure. The bed was not very soft, but I DID have the best night's sleep of my trip while I was there. They offer laundry service as an amenity but that means they take your laundry and send it out. I had mistakenly assumed that the laundry was in our unit. Francesca, our host, was friendly, helpful and had a lovely personality. The place we chose from her dinner recommendations was delicious. I would come back again to enjoy this location and I would try to be there when it was warmer to take in all that it has to offer. "

"The host of this property was very kind accommodating and helpful with our stay in Orvieto. The room was up a flight of stairs and was a nice apartment. It was very clean and close by to the walking areas of the town. It was slightly difficult to find at first however they were able to communicate with us on WhatsApp and help us find their property as well as bring us to a parking spot. The garage was a little way away from the property, but it was easy for us to access and have a safe spot for our car. Orvieto is a beautiful town, and our host was amazing with helping us out and very kind. Overall, a good experience."

"Very satisfied with this choice of hotel in Oriveto. We arrived in the evening after 9 PM. No Uber or Taxi service. we contacted the Hotel and they immediately located a driver who whisked up to this lovely property which is 5 minutes to the Square and less than 10 to the Duomo. No hesitation recommending this hotel which is just as it appears in photos and is good value. "
