"The hotel insisted we hadn’t paid when we arrived despite my proving i had paid 6 months previously. VRBO couldn’t/didn’t help and despite talking to an agent who said they would be back in touch no communication was received. The host eventually turned up at the hotel after we were in bed. Also turns out that the host charged us more than the hotel would have done - an extra £50 over the two nights. The hotel is brilliantly located but apart from that it is very very basic and like walking back...

"I thoroughly enjoyed my two week stay in this lovely Sunshine Flat. The place was very clean and welcoming and the host was helpful and very friendly. The location was great with easy access to shops and restaurants, and also easy access to downtown Düsseldorf. I really enjoyed relaxing on the balcony as well. Would highly recommend!"

"It was very quiet during our stay, but the restaurant below was closed during our trip. Although entry to the apartment is little awkward (Through back door of the restaurant) The place is 2 story with very large, clean rooms with a full-size kitchen. Communication with the owner was excellent."

"A. Dry friendly hotel. Serves one of the better breakfast that I have had. Nice selection of food. Our first room wasn’t in good working order and they moved us right away no questions asked. The pool is on top of the building so you get a great view of the city. The Spa is very nice as well. Had a great time as the location was a 10 minute walk to all the shopping you wanted and a 10 minute walk to old town for all the food you wanted. If you want Asian food it is all around the hotel. "
