For beach and town

On the beach yet walking distance to downtown, the exterior feels a bit like past glory but the bar/restaurant and rooms are renovated and very comfortable.

Nice hotel on the sea front with car park and a short walk from the center . Clean and tidy , we had a big spacious room , coffee machine , fridge , safe . Only downside it did not hair air-conditioning though it is an old hotel.

Great location

It was nice to be located right on the beach and we appreciated having beach chairs ready for us in our rooms. The seaside rooms had wonderful views. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean and comfortable, with historic feel but a little dated. Nice toiletries. Great to have parking right at the hotel. Easy walking distance to many restaurants.

We choose Thermae Palace Hotel whenever we go to Oostende because it’s at a quiet place, far from the crowd and we get a nice walk along the beach when we go to the center which is not far away. From our room, We always get a nice sea view. Parking is easy and it’s free. Also convenient to take the coast tram. Breakfast offers many choices. The negative point: The bathtub didn’t drain fast and it was not easy to pull up the lever to have the shower. Also, this time one vial of soap has been already used since there was not much left in it. A mistake perhaps? last time we came

I liked (a lot): 1. Variety of breakfast buffet way beyond average four star hotels 2. All staff extremely motivated and attentive, providing excellent service at all times 3. Payed parking lot as a fine alternative to typical downtown situation with practically no parking available/free of charge at all. There is room for improvement around: 5. Brasserie Albert apparently not being able to charge checks to your room 4. Room furniture (that appears to be a bit outdated)
