Can't say what Oswiecim town was like as hotel too far out to walk but when we drove through it didn't look.worth visiting but that's just my opinion

"This little apartment is just lovely. Very clean, well stocked, and comfortable. The owners were also very nice and helpful. There is not much to the town itself. We stayed here purely for the purpose of visiting the camp. We had a nice meal out near the lidls in a relatively (for the country) expensive restaurants as some of the other eateries didn't look too appealing.
