"Great spot to stay! Only 10 min walk to the ski field and plenty of restaurants around. Staff were lovely and super helpful, even offering a shuttle to the grocery store and bus station. Room was spacious and comfortable. Having a washing machine, bonus! Would definitely stay again. "

"It’s just beautiful. They have a shuttle to the ski areas that aren’t walkable. Free shuttle from and to the train station. They were very friendly and helped me set up my luggage transportation to the next ski location. "

"Would definitely stay here again. The location was just soooo mint. Walking distance to the bus to all the ski spots and walking distance to so many restaurants. It was perfect. "

"Stay was amazing ! Mr Fukushima was so kind - he helped us with discounted lift tickets, picked us up from the train station and took us grocery shopping. Location was right at the Iwatake gondola. Please note the unit is in traditional Japanese style - sleeping on the floor with Japanese pillows (very different to western pillows). Highly recommend !"

"Situated 300m walk from ski lift/gondola and the ticket office (just carry skis/snowboard across the carpark and you're there), this hostel is clean and well set up. Mens and womens toilets separated. Unisex showers with antechamber. Communal mirror/handbasin area. Communal kitchen downstairs. Breakfast is plain but healthy (sliced ham, assorted vegetables, soup, yoghurt, cereal, bread (couple of types) and jam, tea/coffee). "I loved this hotel! I tried to book an additional night we enjoyed it so much but they were fully booked. Room is spacious for a Japanese hotel in this price range. Easy to open and store my luggage in the seating area in our room, which isn’t common for a double twin room. We arrived early to go to the snow monkey park and the hotel stowed our luggage and had brought it up to our room by the time we came back to check in. Very thoughtful. Check in was easy for an English speaker like me. Room was lovely and clean. Provided lounge wear was so comfortable! Shower caulking was showing some mildew but I was using the onsen shower areas and never used the one if our room since I made full use of the onsen twice during our stay, and that was immaculate. Beautiful indoor and outdoor baths! Bring some change for the strawberry milk vending machine. Breakfast was fantastic. Delicious and great variety. Convenient location near the train station. Walkable to Zenkoji, which I enjoyed so I could explore the neighborhood, but was to catch the bus to the temple too. Have exact change for the bus!"
