'Tussen Heide en Bos' is the ideal base for nature lovers, enthusiasts of the Limburg cycling route network and mountain bikers. Various walking and cycling routes start nearby and lead you through the most beautiful spots of the Hoge Kempen National Park. For families with children, just 700 metres away is the Joekelbos, an adventurous playground where children can romp to their heart's content. In addition
the National Park's long-distance walking route passes our house.

HISTORICAL LOCATION

Do you like history? 'Between Heath and Forest' is built on a historic Celtic site. Visit the nearby De Rieten archaeological park and discover the fascinating story of the Celts who once lived here.
Are you more interested in more recent history? A short distance away you will find the historic Commandery and Square Farm, which are currently being renovated. From the cosy pop-up bar at the commandery, you can enjoy this special place from a distance and follow the renovation work.
