"From the moment we stepped onto the houseboat, we knew we were in for a treat! Our stay was nothing short of extraordinary, and I can't recommend this experience highly enough. The houseboat itself was immaculate and beautifully decorated. The kitchen was fully equipped and the cosy living areas and bedrooms. "We were a large group of friends divided in three different rooms and we had the best time at Numa Fore! Very clean, great bed, very cute apartments. Transport is also great, 9 mins walk to train that dropped us straght in the city center in 20 mins! In the weekend the parking spots outside the hotel are free of charge, BONUS!!!"

"Excellent customer service, especially from the lovely hotel manager who helped us park our car and gave a lot of information about Hamburg. He was very nice to all of our family - including our 2 teenagers. We were there for the Christmas Markets and the location was perfect. Great coffee shop on the corner close by is recommended for breakfast. Room was great and had everything we needed. It was clean and quiet. Close to shops, sights and I would definitely stay again. "We loved the Houseboat!! Loved that it was a central hub for friends/family to gather and enjoy when we wanted respite from the go-go-go that Hamburg is! A quick ten minute walk to the train allowed us not to have to rent a vehicle, helped get our steps in and was easy to navigate throughout the various hubs of the City! A perfect rental. Super comfy beds

"The room was beautiful and cosy. My husbands lived in Hamburg in the past and he really loved the view of the Speicherstadt from our room. The super comfy beds were a treat too. Only downsides are it’s a bit further from the town centre and ubahn which we knew at the time of booking so we walked to most places. We arrived on the weekend with a car and there was not really a convenient drop off location. Parking nearby was quite expensive. I would’ve liked a kettle or coffee machine that dispensed hot water too but that doesn’t seem to be common in hotel rooms in Germany from what I’ve noticed. "

Our first stay in a sustainable hotel.

"We went to Hamburg for a family weekend and stayed for 3 nights. Villa Viva was perfect for us with walking distance to most and safe neighborhood. It was fairly quiet and the breakfast was healthy. My kids missed the bacon. The room we had was large and there is no TV which allowed us more time to talk. WiFi was great! "

"Four days of pure luxury. We upgraded to the Europa suite and it was the most magical venue for Christmas. We enjoyed a magnificent Christmas lunch, delicious breakfasts and wonderful room service meals. The staff were absolutely phenomenal. We really don’t have enough superlatives for our stay at the Fontenay. Worth every penny! "

Modern and stylish with great location!

"The hotel was very modern and stylish. It is located in a park so is very quiet at night. The reception staff was great and efficient. The rooms are big and the beds are huge and very comfortable though maybe a bit too high. There is a big tv, a small fridge, a kettle and tea/ coffee and bottle water available in the room, so it is really above the average 4☆ hotels. The bathroom is spacious with a bathtub which l had requested, so it was fantastic helpful. There is a hairdryer and en iron! So its really above average 4☆ hotel! The only problem l encountered was with a cleaning staff who didn't understand neither German nor English, and seemed a bit annoyed when I asked him to come back later as l was in the middle of a bath, but he didn't come back that day... so maybe a little improvement der, but of course l should have put the do not disturb sign on the door! Otherwise it was a great 4 nights stay in the wonderful city of Hamborg. "
