Situated five kilometres (three miles) from Pola de Siero, the regional capital of Siero. Careses proudly displays its "casas de aldea" (rural houses) with their original architecture lovingly restored for Rural Tourism. Casa Peña Careses is a fine example of this architecture. Here one can live in close contact with nature, Asturian customs, and rural way of live. Farming equipment and traditional elements of the working farm are displayed as a reminder of a bygone age.

Careses is situated in a wide valley at the base of “La Peña Careses”, (Mount Careses), where one can enjoy beautiful scenery and activities such as rambling and climbing.

Una casa rural "como las de antes"
Mayte y su marido son encantadores y como viven al lado están atentos a cualquier necesidad del visitante. En la casa hay disponible todo lo que se pueda necesitar y en la cocina no faltaba de nada, incluyendo detalles como café, leche, aceite o azucar.

Un trato muy agradable
Fuimos con mis padres y Perro y muy buena experiencia. Maite, la dueña es muy atenta y simpática y si necesitabamos algo ella nos ayudaba o aconsejaba. La casita está apartada y con un buen terreno con jardín muy cuco ideal para relajarte pero a 30 minutos de Gijón y Oviedo si quieres playa.

Casa muy bonita, muy limpia y bien equipada. Ubicada en una zona rural muy tranquila. Mayte y su familia además fueron muy atentos y amables en todo momento.

Una experiencia inolvidable
Le pongo un 10 a todo: la tranquilidad del entorno, la cercanía a todos los servicios necesarios para el día a día, la posibilidad de pasear o hacer senderismo teniendo también la playa a unos 30 minutos en coche, la extrema amabilidad de los dueños, su atención en todos los detalles, la casa acogedora y bien equipada. No nos ha faltado de nada para disfrutar. Volveríamos sin dudarlo.
