Quiet end of the street, walkable from train station and tourist spots. We stayed in room 311, which was very roomy, but required a small chest of drawers, as not enough space for clothes. Otherwise a good and reasonable priced hotel

My only criticisms are two: 1) you should install "grab- bars" in the otherwise geat showers; and - 2) add 2 hand wash clothes to the towels set. 2)

It was really conveniently located, yet still quiet so that we weren't disturbed at night. The staff were lovely and helpful, and the breakfast was great. The only minor thing that could have been improved on is that our hallway was a little tired looking (marks on walls, paint chipping in places) and could have used a little sprucing up. I'd definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the centre of Oxford.

Great location Room ok although felt very claustrophobic as tiny window so limited air circulation No teabags or biscuits A lot of money for an average stay but the hotel location was excellent for the city and local amenities .

Everything was pretty good- room was super hot but i guess thats England when there isn't cool weather. The parking situation was a bit stressful when retrieving our car. There were 10 or more vehicles piled in when we were told they never exceed 6. Had to wait and the older manager gentlemen was a little rude while he moved several cars before we could leave. Room was good.

Check in was delayed due to system problems . The air con control in the room was not working , showing an error message (clearly not a new issue ) . This was rectified by the provision of a portable fan which was very noisy making the choice to lose sleep through heat or noise . The shaver socket was just taped over untidily with black masking tape and unusable . The external window had a badly fitted lock on it which was inaccessible and the interior glazed window was unsafe to close as there was a 1 inch gap between the pane of glass and the frame exposing a sharp glass edge . This made it impossible to quieten the noise of the construction workers below who started work (and shouting) before 8am. Dated and in parts (the window) unsafe hotel and the worst nights sleep I have had .

There are some rooms that are on the 2nd floor but there’s not lift and the hotel refused to offer help with the luggage until I got frustrated. I was disappointed with the lack of customer service.

Only small downside is- as usual in Oxford- despite having an elevator, there are always a few stairs that can create difficulties for the mobility impaired. This property was no exception, but had far fewer of these surprise stairs than most places in Oxford. The A/C was magnificent and no one tried to prevent our making the most of it in our room on humid days!!!!Excellent overall and will book with them again!

Room has not had AC for a while and the hotel knowingly and with premeditation still went ahead and sold it to us. We had to leave the hotel earlier due to the intense summer heat and asked for one night refund. Nor Expedia, neither the hotel resolved the issue. I do not recommend to stay in this hotel. Please check travel advisor reviews.

Perfect location, small car park
Although a perfect location, luckily we’d travelled in our smaller or 2 cars as if we’d been in the X5 there’s no way we’d have got into the car park. The room was clean but the bathroom flooded every time you had a shower.
