"While the weather wasnt what was hoped for this cute little cabin made it worth while for our first trip to Packwood. Clean, cozy, had all the amenities we needed and we slept amazing on the comfy bed. The neighborhood made for great morning and evening walks with the pup (thank you for the pet extras). The deck (even in the rain) was just what was needed for coffee and evening cocktail listening to the rain, cozied up under the little covered area. We will be back!"

"My wife and I loved our time here with our newborn son for our 4-year anniversary trip. The cabin worked perfectly for us, close to many hiking trails and natural areas, and was close to town for us to grab any last-second groceries. Bonus pro-tip: there's a short walk through the woods from the cabin that gets you to the river. Gorgeous area. We hope to be back again next year!"

"The cabin was quite cozy overall, quiet neighborhood. Saw lots of elk in the front yard one morning. Hot tub was nice. Wood storage well stocked. The bed by the back door is where I slept, it seemed to have a dip in the center as I couldn't help but roll into it. The mini split does not work for heat. "This cozy cabin had everything you would need for a very nice stay and then some. The owners have thought of everything. There is a wood stove inside (or a regular heating unit if you prefer), a fire pit, and 2 outdoor grills. There is even a washer/dryer, and they provided soap and dryer sheets. "We stayed a couple of nights and really enjoyed our getaway from the city. Although there are many hiking opportunities, we only went out once because of the rain and enjoyed the hot tub and coziness of the cabin to cook and relax. "We had a great trip! The house is so cute! The window AC helped with the heat but not if you wanted to cook. Also the sun beams in in the afternoon and late afternoon it gets so hot we had to stay downstairs. Maybe adding some curtains and a door to the closet in the bedroom would keep it cooler in the summer months. We were there when it was 102 outside. Also the bathroom doors do not latch shut. We just put the hamper in front of the doors when we were using the bathrooms. Other than that this...

"Super nice staff and clean room but thats about it. All in all not bad, just not great. Felt like we went back in time to the 1970's. Which was pretty cool at first, but then was sorta disappointing; considering the other hotels in Packwood that we have stayed at for about the same price. No coffee in the room was a huge disappointment as we were heading out early for skiing. Floor was slanted so stuff rolled across the room to under the bed, and super thin walls...."
