Breathtaking 6 BR log home mountain views with closest location to Wolf Creek!

This- 4000+ SF mountain view home has all the amenities of fine living. From the soaring ceiling, hand hewn logs, granite counters and alder woodwork, with hardwood and slate flooring throughout, this home will provide views 'to die for'. The master and guest bedrooms have queen beds, private bathrooms and HD TVs. The upstairs has two bedrooms , both with Queen sized beds (one is new replacing the bunk beds) . There is now also a baby crib in the guest bedroom downstairs. We have just converted the garage into two more bedrooms (2016), both with queen beds and additional twin beds in the two new bedrooms. The third bedroom downstairs has a queen bed and the crib.
Entertaining family and friends will be easy with a fully appointed gourmet kitchen, fireplaces in Great room and Master bedroom, balconied loft w/ pool table, foosball, and 14 ft. shuffelboard. There is a premier theater room with leather recliners for 12, featuring a 110' HD screen, Blue Ray DVD, and THX surround sound stereo system throughout. We have added a 6-7 person hot tub on the deck, and new larger HD TV's in the living room (85 in.) and in the MB and guest BR. Hiking is all around! In the spring there is some great white water rafting on the Piedra River just west of town. Fishing on the San Juan is just a walk down the hill but for the best sites - check with the fish shops in town. There are two stocked ponds down the hill from the house that only owners and their guests are allowed to use. Hot air balloon rides are sometimes available in the summer. You can rent tubes to go down the San Juan River. If you are a skier, Wolf Creek has the most snow in all of Colorado and is a 17 mile ride up the switchbacks. There is no "ski in - ski out" lodging on the resort so the lift tickets are still reasonable with quad - turbo lifts and plenty of all levels of ski runs. The lift lines are usually very short or non-existent. We have had a number of groups of adults (6 couples) who preferred to not have bunk beds in two of our current bedroom set-ups so we changed to queens with an extra twin in the room for kids to bunk together if that's what works best. We are continuing to update and make our home a great vacation spot for everyone.
