"The staff was so friendly. There were lots of animals: peacocks, cats, frogs, geese. We loved it! We booked it to be closer to Volcanoes National Park, without realizing there was no road that cuts across. We had to go amidst to Hilo in order to go back down to the Volcanoes, so it wasn't the most ..."

"This was the perfect place to stay as we waited for Pele to make her appearance on Kilauea. It's an easy 10 minute drive to the national park, and Hilo town is less than 45 minutes away. The house is cozy and comfortable, nestled in a quiet neighborhood. Lots of thoughtful amenities and charm."

"This house was a wonderful place to stay. There was no air-conditioning in this place but it was not needed. The wind coming off the sea was sufficient to cool the house and sometimes at night it was cold. The sounds of the waves crashing against the cliffs was the best "white noise" to fall asleep ..."
