Clean campsite in beautiful setting

Beautiful setting, lovely staff, surrounded by sounds of nature, silent at night, cleanest communal spaces I’ve ever seen in a campsite. 20min walk to town, but beautiful beach all the way.

There are no towers in the unit and the shared toilets are too far away to walk at night to use when it's cold! I hate it! I will not use such budget accommodations ever again!

Horrible experience :(

Where to start… 3 live cockroaches found as soon as we entered the cabin, followed by a stale smell and black mould on the curtains which they tried to hide by turning one of them around the other way. Stains were all over the carpet including what looked like bird poo. The actual campsite itself including amenities has potential, and if you were camping in a tent or caravan you would be okay. However, the cabins I do not recommend whatsoever. They look nothing like the photos online at all.

Highly recommend if looking for camping location

Excellent value for money. Wonderful views right on river so able to swim at location. Think glamping with fully equipped kitchen shared bathroom. Bed was really comfortable and all clean. Excellent location with lots to do within walking distance. Highly recommend.

The cabin was just right for our family of five. It's affordable and child friendly, we stayed 2 nights and enjoyed the views of the river. Countdown is an easy 10 minute walk (with kids) and the beach is a short stroll. Central to everything we set out to see and do including the waitangi museum, paihia beach, Jimmy's shack, the pier and Haruru falls. We would definitely come back and highly recommend this place. The only problem we had was that WiFi was not working properly but otherwise it was great!

3 night stay in cabin. Surrounding views are simply superb, yet such close distance to the Waitangi river also means its very cold and heater in room is of not much help. Water pressure for bathing is a bit small but still acceptable, and wifi cannot be connected in room and can only be used in kitchen. Overall the room is clean and makes a great stay if the weather is not that cold.

Cosy cabin at a good price

This was my fourth stay at the Camp ground and my first with kids. We had a cabin with a beautiful view right on the beach and the facilities were basic but well kept and clean. A great place to stay at a great price!

A lovely, peaceful place to stay!

My husband and I stayed in one of the private cabins for five nights and absolutely loved it. It was peaceful, clean, and cozy, and just a 15 minute walk along the water into Paihia. The bathrooms and kitchen were clean and available when we needed them. The staff were kind and helpful when we needed to use the phone or ask questions. I wish we could have stayed even longer!

파이히아의 중심지와 가까우며 위치가 아주 좋다. 우리는 캐빈을 예약했고, 캠퍼들도 아주 많았다. 숙소는 퀸베드룸과 싱글베드와 2층침대가 있는 2룸이었다. 이불은 별도로 렌트해야하니 덮을 것을 미리 준비하면 좋다. 화장실 및 샤워실은 깨끗했으며, 키친과 세탁실은 중간 정도즘 된다. 전체적으로 휴가지의 느낌을 간직하고 있는 파크이다. 개인적으로 만족했다.
