"This locations is great! My wife and I stayed to view the eclipse, but aside from that, there is plenty to do in the area. From wineries to hiking, and even an alpaca farm! If you're staying in the colder months I'd highly recommend bringing a comforter. It can get pretty cold at night, though propane heaters are provided. "Passing through we decided to stop in the finger lakes for a couple nights. We were able to bring our dog who absolutely loved the property. Mitch is a fantastic host, and his cabin is perfect! It was the cleanest place we have ever stayed. It is also beautiful which I suspect was custom designed by the owner. His recommendations were great. I would also add that if you want a step up from a tavern, Park Inn had amazing food and wasn’t overly fancy."

"Tucked away on the other side of a bridge, the house was a perfect home base to explore Corning, Watkins Glen, and Ithaca. Clean, quiet, and spacious. The turn-off from Rt 414 to the private access road can be hard to spot at night, but the hosts sent detailed instructions."
