"Very attractive gastro pub off the beaten track. Excellent food and range of drinks. I was fortunate the weather was glorious so an evening in the beer garden was appreciated. The room was a good size if only a little dated. The large sash window offered little in sound proofing but had the most glorious view across a field of sunflowers. "Good Stay - but could perhaps offer breakfast a little earlier sue to working requirements. The place is very clean and is very close to the town centre. Very friendly owner and the rooms are great. I have stayed here multiple times. "

"In our 2-night stay we had no contact with anyone else at the hotel, but could hear othwr guests a little from our room. Check-in was easy with guidance sent in advance, and the room was cleaned well during the day. The accomodation was clean and comfortable, although the common areas were unlit during the day so quite dark. A small amount of shampoo and shower gel was provided, and the room had a kettle. "We were given room 4, apparently it has an Infamous reputation as the lad who looks after the hotel called a few hours before check-in to ask if we wanted to find alternative accommodation due to the amount of complaints they have about this room. Unfortunately Hotels.com were not especially helpful in changing our booking and we were about to set off so opted to just keep the room. It is at the top of the hotel, 4 flight of stairs up. I really appreciated the cleanliness of the property and the style of the bathrooms. Only downsides are that the property isn’t near any local shops. The nearest shop is a petrol station. "

"Has all you need for an excellent holiday. Two good-sized bedrooms one with en-suite shower room one with its own bathroom, good-sized kitchen-diner and lounge. Everything modern and in good order, effective heating and hot water. Close to lovely walks over coastal heathland and to the seal colony. Village has a good pub that does food and an excellent fish and chip shop."
