Great ambience with a large medieval entry, and timber ceilings. The room was spacious, with double doors overlooking an authentic narrow old Palermo street, filled with the life of locals living nearby. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only downside for a couple of over 60s was the climb up three flights of stairs - a real gym workout to counter all the pasta and pizzas.

Amazing hosts. We felt at home right away. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. There is a nice terrace, the rooms are spacious, and we received very useful advice about what to do in the town. Overall a lovely experience. Recommend highly!

EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO FIND
No signage or number on the building. Very difficult to find even though it's on a small side street that curves. NO sign naming the hotel or the number of the building in which it is located. The area has interesting restaurants, but it's in a marginal area and it's scary to go out for dinner and not be able to find your way back. In many rooms, the en suite bathroom is up a full flight of stairs.

Excellent Central B&B Palermo
It was 3 nights. Checkin was seamless. The neighbours were very helpful giving directions to hotel. After the first night we were accomplished and found various routes. Management engaging and extremely helpful in every way. Breakfast was excellent. All staff went above and beyond to be helpful. Management spoke english very well.

The Heart of Palermo: Love it!
Fabulous location, a short walk from all Palermo's best sights. Don't be put off by its surroundings' grit. Staff is absolutely sweet, and the breakfast a daily feast of fresh fruit and a wonderful array of beautiful cakes baked each day on site. Excellent espresso, cappuccino, fruit smoothies and fresh-squeezed oj. The breakfast room is spacious and lovely. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and comfy, with balcony for watching street-life 'theatre' in the vicolo below. Note: the surrounding streets do get noisy in late afternoon-early evening with kids playing and mamas yelling. Inside the B&B, though, is an oasis of calm, and the nearby lanes and alleys quiet down at bedtime. You'd never know you were just steps away from what's got to be the city's wildest piazza, Piazza Carracolli (sp?). We wouldn't stay anyplace else.

Rustic pension in old city centre. Helpful staff.
This pension is located in old city area very close to most sites. Old building very newly decorated retaining its rustic style. Lovely fresh juice and coffee served with cold buffet breakfast with excellent super friendly service. Very helpful staff. Owners dont live in but desk seemed to be manned for much of the day. Fast replies to emails. Free Wi-Fi in reception. 5 uro cost for aircon. 10-15 min walk to railway station. 45 Euro taxi to airport. Highly recommended for people on medium budget without a car and require central location.

First, the good things. The room was very clean and the breakfast was excellent (fresh homemade cakes, fruit and pastry). The owner is very kind . He let us leave the baggage at reception after check-out, since our flight was later that afternoon. This would be enough for us if the WI-Fi was working. We choose this hotel based on recommendations of others guests and free Wi-Fi, which did not work most of the time. When it was working we needed to lean on window or to find signal in the corridor between rooms. Even then the signal is very low. We got the explanation from the manager that the walls are too thick?! The other thing is that the first next building is under construction, so the noise starts from 7 am! I don`t know when does it end, because we were coming late in the room, but it`s not a low noise but real construction cite. And the last thing is the noise during the night. The surrounding of the hotel is very urban and especially vibrant during weekends. People casually gather around few bars that revive during nights and the atmosphere is very nice. But since the hotel is only one street away almost every nights some guys were gathering below our windows and shouting and screaming deep into the night.

Basic room but good price
Overall the stay was fine. The B&B is very hard to find. I was driven by a friend who lives in Palermo and he could not find the place. We had to ask for directions from different people at least 5 different times. This is really a basic B&B. There is not typically a staff member around if you need help but if you know that it is what you are signing up for it is fine. It is a great location - just one block away from a main piazza in the historic center of Palermo.

Difficult to find, but worth it when you do
Incredibly difficult to find hotel - its down an alley, round a corner, off a side street, beside a square. Must have walked past it three times before the proprietor saw us and shouted hello at us from a window. But its beautiful inside - clean, no mess or flies or anything, modern décor with all the nice touches like wooden beam ceilings and verandas The breakfast is very sweet, and very homemade - delicious - particularly if you want sugar in the morning. Staff were incredibly attentive and accommodating with both our late arrival and late departure, helping us stow bags so we could enjoy our last day. Of particular note is the fact that just two streets away there appears to be an every-night student street party that goes on with cheap drink, which is highly recommended for those who want a bit of cheap authentic nightlife. Bring GPS so you can find this place! But you wont regret it when you do.

A very nice B&B in the heart of Vucciria
I really enjoyed staying in this hotel. The room was huge and with all comforts. Staff really friendly, caring and they did everything possible to make my stay unforgettable( especially Vito who told me a lot of interesting tips and showed me Palermo). Great breakfast with fresh orange juice and homemade cakes. Very recommended

Smack Bang in the heart of Palermo city
The hotel was a bit of a mission to find (coming from London) wasn't quiet use to the narrow alley/streets of Palermo but soon figured it out. The room and hotel were very clean and the room itself was spacious and comfortable. Staff: Were extremely friendly and helpful and spoke english which was a HUGE help in a city were very few people speak english. the only issue was the very weak/no wifi signal :( but I was on vacation so i didn't really care! :) I would definately stay there again, very good value for money!

Renovated rustic
Great rustic newly renovated b&b, great if you love cake for breakfast! Super clean, great ensuite and shower pressure. Pretty good English is spoken. However incredibly hard to find and being a small business it is not sign posted, but the locals helped us with out map. When we did find the b&b it was in great location a 15min walk from train station and 20 min walk from bus stands to mondello beach, it's set couple minutes walk from Shops and restaurants

Overall a good experience
Convenient location in historic city centre. Difficult to find the place since it is not signposted and people here speak little English. However Marcello, our host sent us a Google Map over WhatsApp so we managed. Very friendly and helpful staff. Luckily we got a room with a fridge and kitchen so we could make our own breakfast.
