"views to the beach beautiful. however need to bring supplies because two hours away from everything. the house is walking distance to beach. on the second floor and had to walk from the front and hard to keep sand from getting into the house. suggest booking the first apartment floor accommodation to walk directly to beach."

"Staff are super helpful and friendly, the hotel is spotlessly clean. I really want to leave a good review as they are trying so hard, but there are shortcomings that could easily be addressed. The rooms are pretty basic and a couple of glasses, a hairdryer, extra towels etc would make a huge difference. Restaurant staff need proper training - they try very hard but seem unsure as to what they should be doing. They didn’t offer us the correct breakfast menu or explain options. There wasn’t...

Une personne nous attendait à l’arrêt d’autobus pour nous mener à l’hôtel. C’est un hôtel magnifique, vraiment. La terrasse est grande avec plusieurs chaises et tables. Il y fait chaud toutefois, car tout est en plein soleil. Le petit-déjeuner offert a été très apprécié. L’arrêt d’autobus pour aller à Las coloradas est à 5 min à pied. Le propriétaire peut organiser une visite guidée ($) avec un guide officiel qui est super gentil. 🙂 Sur le malecon, en marchant, il y a des dépanneurs pour les grignotines et des restaurants. Le centre n’est pas très loin à pied. Nous sommes restés deux soirs. Au final : qualité/prix excellents! "

"Absolutely stunning hotel in sleepy Espita. The photos actually don’t do the hotel justice, it’s even better in real life with simple stylish rooms and lovely tropical landscaping. The food in the restaurant is of a really high standard & the staff were all so friendly and helpful. Wish we’d stayed longer!"

"Great view! Location was very nice and right across from the malecon. The pool was better than expected and great for cooling off in. The staff were very friendly and especially Bernaby (Barnaby) and Julie. We loved walking to Sendero Peten Mac and making use of a mototaxista Juan who we used for an excursion to San Felipe and Las Coloradas and playa Cancunito. Juan has a mototaxi that has good shade and he was friendly and pointed out crocodiles in mangroves at the side of the road. It was only 20 minutes by mototaxi to San Felipe and 40 minutes to Las Coloradas. You can contact Juan through the hotel’s front desk staff. The posted hotel rules regarding no outside beverages or food even in rooms, seemed very unreasonable and so we ignored the rule. We did also eat and drink in the hotel restaurant area. "
