"The best location of you like a quite place. After Mykonos, APOLLEN in NAXOS Greek island was really quiet. Mr. STAMATIS ANDREAS - the host/owner is an amazingly hospitable person. Keep in mind though that you will not be able to reach the property if you do not rent a car or arrange for an expensive airport/port transfer. Driving is extremely difficult. "This place was amazing. The hosts are perhaps the nicest peopel I’ve met on my 5 week trip to Greece. If you want to escape the hustle of the port towns and enjoy the serenity of the mountains , this is the place. Only 17 min from town and 20 min from the longest sand beaches I’ve ever seen in Greece. Place is like new, well appointed ans surreal. Would def stay again next time I am in Naxos. "

"My wife and I stayed two weeks at Astrid's little cottage, which is one of four. Astrid and her husband kindly gave us plenty of vegetables, bread and fruit throughout our stay. They even hosted a fabulous dinner of goat and potatoes with lovely salads, wine and raki, all from the farm! Astrid is a highly recommended local historian of Naxos, and she gave my wife and I a lesson in the island's history during the archaic and classical period. I'd highly recommend the cottage.
