"Paolo was a fantastic host, and his home was perfect! This was our first (and hopefully not last!) trip to Italy, and Pretoro was our second stop. The house made for a great “home base” during our stay, and even more importantly, our two toddlers loved it. We spent most of our time in the center of Guardiagrele, and the house and Pretoro were just a short 15-20 minute drive away. "Feels like Im staying at my grandmas that I never knew. Very welcoming, feels like home. My wife cried as we were leaving. Fantastic food/dinner. Would recommend to anyone who wants an at home experience. They speak pretty good english for the area and are some of the most kind people I have met. Its not a 5 star hotel. Its a 5 star home"

"What a beautiful place to stay! Signore Pardi is very gracious and always answered my texts quickly. The Villa where the reception is and the breakfast room are lovely and have beautiful pictures of the family. Maria who greeted us was very sweet as was the lovely Signora who prepared our breakfast. "Wir hatten einen sehr erholsamen und ruhigen Aufenthalt in Anna‘s Haus. Die Lage ist perfekt für Tagesausflüge mit dem Auto in den Majella Nationalpark sowie ans Meer. Rapino ist zu Fuß zu erreichen. Die Unterkunft war für Kochabende optimal ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Von den beiden Gastgebern wurden wir sehr freundlich empfangen und unser verspätetes Ankommen stellte auch kein Problem dar. Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen."

"We added this stop to the end of our two week Italian vacation of the big cities. It was just what our family needed to decompress. The owners were extremely kind and helpful and the house is so very impressive. The pool was great for the kids and the Adriatic Sea is a nice drive through the countryside if you want a beach day. We hopefully will be back in the future. It is a big house for 4, but it gave our family a chance to spread out after our long vacation together!"

"Nous avons trouvé l'hôtel surévalué par les commentaires. Il est certes bien situé mais près d'une rue très passante. Accueil froid et impersonnel (sans être pour autant désagréable). Le confort et la décoration de la chambre sont restés bloqués dans les années 70, avec par exemple juste un ventilateur comme climatisation (pas pratique en plein été !). Enfin, tout comme le reste, le restaurant est décevant. "

"The host family is kind and generous. They worked very hard to make us feel welcome. Our room was lovely with twin beds made up as a king; it had a bunk bed that we did not use. As in most of the places we stayed, wifi was slow; I used my cell phone data instead. Their breakfast was wonderful, with way too much delicious food, served in a lovely setting."
