Disappointing
We were disappointed that the Villa and outside area did not look like the photos on the VRBO site, I am guessing that the pictures are probably at least 10 years old.
Outside - we arrived to cat poo in the pool and the water level so low that the filter was unable to work. We can only assume that the pool has a leak as we needed to top up daily to ensure the level was high enough for the filters. The sun-beds are stained and there are no parasols to provide shade.
Downstairs - the kitchen is functional and has all that you need. The furniture in the lounge is ok but a bit worn / stained and in the dining room you need to watch which chair you sit on as the legs are weak.
Upstairs - the bedrooms are ok, however all the beds squeak and aren’t very comfortable. Only one out of three wardrobes had a couple of hangers, more were requested but not received. The windows provide no sound proof, literally sounds like you have them open, so regularly got woken up by a vehicles passing or dogs barking.
The bathrooms were very dated and could do with a refurbishment.
You only receive one set of keys which also has the fob for the air conditioning. So if one person wants to go out in the morning it means the air-con goes off for everyone.
The location is good with some smaller bays and the main Fig Tree bay all in walking distance. Takes about 10 mins to walk to the main restaurants but there are some quieter ones closer.
