"Paraty is a place to visit! Just skip this property. It’s not a hostel more like a local residence/ party spot. There was 3 families living there, that made it all rather unusual. The music never stops it’s on all day and typically goes off around 3-4 am. It’s difficult to get a good nights sleep. The bar/restaurant had nothing to drink other than 2 beers and only had potato chips for snacks. Not what I typically expect from a hostel. "I didn't like that I booked 2 rooms and I was giving 1 family room. There is a reason why people book 2 rooms, and it is to have more space. I spent 3 days in a tiny room with 4 beds inside because I was told they put poison on the other rooms to kill bugs, but on the very next day some new guests were there"
