The staff was amazing. Being a small hotel, the staff knows all of their guests and can assist with many different needs, and was always responsive to emails and phone calls. The hotel was located in a good part of the city with easy access to restaurants and shopping. The only downside was that the street was a busy "walking" street and noisy at night.

The hotel had a lot of cachet. The decoration was stylish - very French - unlike the standard decors that have taken over hotels around the world. The staff was very helpful. And the hotel is located in the heart of Latin Quarter, yet away from the crowd, and steps to the Seine River.

Wonderful boutique hotel in Paris. Great location in the Latin Quarter, near Notre Dame and all the major attractions. Great restaurants close by make it perfect. Unusually Large rooms and a great staff that is friendly and accommodating. Our second stay at this 10 room hotel and we will be back.

Pros- Comfortable bed, large room, quiet area, Nice breakfast Cons - Room was cold and heater did not change temp; Lobby was uninviting, Amenities had to be requested like washcloth and robes; Shower had terrible hot water issues and shower was hand held in a tub. Overpriced for what we received. Would not stay here again.

Loved the neighborhood we were in. Had a lot of food options nearby and the streets would get very quiet at night. Willy and the staff were all amazing and very helpful. Went above and beyond to help me research for a specific product I was looking for. Rooms were spacious, bed was comfortable and the water pressure was perfect. Was disappointed with our room, although it looked like the picture, it was outdated. Bed was rock, closet was peculiar with the bar just above wast level. But what was most disappointing was no dresser, it either stayed in your suitcase or went on some wooden shelf in the closet. Let me mention, the coffee maker positioned as if it was a work of art to be adorned.

My husband and I stayed here for a short Anniversary trip. Villa d’Estrees is a charming independent hotel, in an amazing location that is close to everything in the heart of Paris: The Louvre, Notre Dame, shopping, etc. You can take the Metro/Bus to Eiffel Tower. The hotel staff was professional and accommodating, and spoke fluent English (this is very helpful for tourists). The room has the basic amenities, minus air conditioning (for Summer months). No iron/board, but can be borrowed upon request. Breakfast is also available with reservation the night prior. Price per night is mid-range because it is at the nexus of multiple landmarks. We will stay here again if and when we return to Paris.
