It is nestled on two acres with a lake view and is a mere 1200 feet from the Pettit Bay Marina and Park entrances and 10 miles from the Zeb Wildlife Management Area. The large yard can accomodate campers and boats or pitch your own tent. The gazebo has provided for many picturesque moments and the fire pit with andirondack chairs provide for great evening entertainment. There are various seating throughout the yards with a picnic table and cusioned swings. A few long banquet tables can be requested for serving outdoor meals. The bathroom has a deep soaker tub and shower. There is an additional bedroom with a full size Ikea bed called the "Red Room". The dining room has a large table that seats eight. There is a small childs table for seating four toddlers. The kitchen island seats an additional three people on bar stools. Lake Tenkiller is the clearest body of water in the state of Oklahoma with 130 miles of scenic shoreline. It has two state parks and 20 parks managed by the Corp of Engineerss. Tenkiller is known for its boating and fishing activities. If you're fishing for bass, walleye, crappie or trout - this is the lake to visit! Bring your boat or if you don't have one there are several marina rental sites available for boats, jet skis, paddle boards, and boat pull toys. Eating on the lake is an incredible experience at the floating restaurants and there are some excellent land based restaurants also. Tenkiller is a magnificent memory-making lake that will capture your heart and sense of adventure.
For the HUNTERS, The Bay House is a mere 5-10 miles from the Qualls and Zeb entrances to the Wildlife Conservation Areas. Cherokee WMA consists of approximately 31,360 acres in southwestern Cherokee County and is located two miles south of Hwy. 62 at Zeb, Oklahoma. The WMA is a mixture of uplands with scattered fields and small stream riparian areas. Numerous ponds dot the landscape. Oak-hickory timber on rolling hills predominate the area. Fields and meadows with native bunch grasses and brushy thickets are found throughout with several seasonal small streams bisecting the area. The main drainage is Greenleaf Creek, which runs east to west, and contains typical bottom land over-story such as: sycamore, elm, ash, hackberry, mulberry and pecan. The average annual precipitation is about 41 inches. The management area is divided into a 16,000-acre Public Hunting Area (PHA) and a 15,360-acre Game Management Area (GMA). The PHA is generally open year round for legal seasons, while the GMA is open mainly for controlled hunts.

The city of Tahlequah, located 20 minutes away and is part of the "Green Country" region of Oklahoma and was established as the capital of the 19th century Cherokee Nation in 1893, as part of the new settlement in Indian Territory after the Trail of Tears. The current and present Cherokee Complex can be toured as well as the old court house, cultural center, old jail, art galleries, restaurant and gift shops. While there is much history to see and experience, the town of Tahlequah also offers movie theaters, live theater, a jazz lab, 2 golf courses, antiques, quaint parks, casino, shopping, antiques, restaurants and coffee shops. Tahlequah is also home to Northeastern State University and has that college vibe on the north end of town.
Another one of Tahlequah's biggest outdoor attractions is the scenic Illinois River, which is home to over 60 miles of breathtaking landscapes. Floating is one of the biggest recreational activities available. Depending on your preference, you may float by raft, kayak or canoe.
