"The perfect getaway — lovely cosy evenings by the fire, and days spent in this heavenly French chateau and its grounds. Lots of tennis played on the clay court (sadly too chilly to use the pool) but excursions to beautiful Chablis, Auxerre and the abbey at Pontigny were particular highlights. Can’t recommend enough!"

Wie groß die Leistung der Eigentümer ist, erfasst man erst, wenn man sich das im Haus befindliche Fotobuch ansieht. So sind Haus und Garten sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und gestaltet. Ein gemütliches Wohnzimmer mit einem großen Esstisch, einer gemütlichen Couch und bequemen Sesseln lädt zum Wohlfühlen...

"Comfortable clean quiet apartment in converted old farm building. Very fast wifi. Covered parking for car and bikes below apartment. Helpful friendly owner doesn't speak english. Rustic village with good supermarket next to pretty river Yonne, Excellent tarmac cycle path along nearby canal du Nivernais. Lots of wine tasting. Recommend visiting Noyers, Auxerre, Vezelay. Only negative is the outside of the apartment, which is not pretty and has no view. Turin Shroud!!!!ne. "

"There were a number of broken items at the property, outdoor chairs, sun bed, table, glass porch area. Both showers drained very poorly- one was incredibly blocked & we had to clean this out. The strict rules for the property- all breakages would be 30 Euros, felt unfair due to the already damaged furniture in arrival. We certainly left the house in a cleaner state than when we arrived too. The house itself was a large beautiful property, just needed a bit of TLC"

"In the middle of the countryside but with shops only a short drive away, it was the perfect setting for a family holiday. We very much enjoyed our stay which was very relaxing and our al-fresco meals were an absolute delight. It is well equiped and we were able to prepare meals without difficulty and no shortage of utensils, pots and pans etc. The downside is that the property is in need on both a deep clean and some basic maintenance.
