"The hotel is in an ideal location however it needs a complete renovation The rooms are tired and dated and the en-suite was un workable, the shower cubicle door was broken and wouldn’t close. The complementary toiletries were 3 sachets of shampoo which wasn’t adequate for a shower. We feel that the price advertised was extortionate for the facilities we had. We will not be returning or recommend this hotel "

"A very good value for money hotel which we have used in the past. Just off the motorway but still very quiet. The rooms are comfortable but not luxurious. The food is good but not gourmand and the service is friendly. A thoroughly good overnight stop ."

"Excellent little hotel with a very good restaurant, friendly helpful staff. Rooms slightly dated but clean and well maintained. Well stocked bar in a quiet little lounge off the restaurant. The addition of air conditioning, by far from ubiquitous in similar properties, was a godsend in the hot summer. "

"Brilliant stay here on route to Dordogne. Host very welcoming and room very up-to-date and spot less. Attention to details like diffuser on hairdryer spot on. Also use of kitchen an added bonus. Would definitely recommend a stay here"

"The welcome from the staff was fine. The evening meal was excellent and reasonably priced. The breakfast was good. However the room was rather disappointing for 110 Euro. No lift Steep narrow stairs. Small room for the price. Rather basic. Would have been acceptable for 55 Euro "
