"Our visit can only be described as comical. We booked a room with a kitchen, never saw one. Apparently our booking had been taken when they were full. There were language barriers which contributed to our issues ok but we ended up in a room that was not fit for purpose. Internet was spasmodic, the shower was broken, we only managed one hot shower each across 3 days. The bathroom door was broken meaning it could not be closed. "Location is excellent, right on the sea front. The staff are friendly and efficient and speak good English. My bike was stored in a private store room. There is a good breakfast. Unfortunately the bathroom in the room smells strongly of mothballs or something like that, and I had to try to keep the bathroom door shut at all times. The air-conditioning works but seems to be weak. The window in the room can't be opened wide, so it is difficult to get rid of the smell."

"Acceptable place to stay for the night. noticeable trace of tobacco smell in the room. If you decide to move the bed you will uncover a layer of dust beneath it. The bathroom could have some maintenance. Located near the quay, cafes, restaurants and shops are plentiful in the vicinity."

Well Priced, Simple Gem on the Water

"Hotel Mola is a sweet, small family run hotel with a private beach and nice views over the water on the west side of Marmara. Why we liked it: (1) Comfortable rooms. While not lavish, rooms have comfortable beds, decent storage space, and excellent air conditioning. Ours were also very clean. (2) Great location. Easy walk into town for meals, shopping, etc. Even better: private beach with loungers and umbrellas. Beach is sandy and water relatively shallow. You can’t reserve loungers, so walk down early to put your towels etc on the ones you want and you’re set. (3) Nice amenities. This is not a luxe hotel, but the breakfast is next level. So.much.delicious.food, served on a terrace overlooking the water. We could not believe the generosity of the spread. Beach bar has drinks, food, etc to keep one hydrated and fed while sunning; very reasonable prices. We needed to do laundry so my husband asked the front desk and they did it for us at (again) very reasonable prices. (4) Friendly staff. While many of the staff were not proficient in English (and our Turkish is rudimentary), they were unstintingly helpful. Google Translate was very useful."

"This was our second stay and we look forward to returning again, we love this hotel. It is very stylishly furnished and exceptionally clean, the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The food is wonderful, simply the best Turkish breakfast ever. We strongly recommend staying at Pınar. One thing we would like to point out is please close the doors on the Midye Restaurant so that cigarette smoke doesn’t drift inside, this is not so good when travelling with young children."
